INTERRA has a continuing assignment to help both the commercial and residential divisions of this national
real estate developer in its efforts to expand into a new line of business in the area of military base reuse and development. Specifically INTERRA manages and provides strategies to guide Lennar through the developer selection process. INTERRA is also assisting or has assisted Lennar in developing Mare Island Naval Shipyard in Vallejo, California; Hunters Point Shipyard in San Francisco; and, March Air Force Base, Riverside County, California.
Saddleback Meadows, Orange County
INTERRA is providing day to day management of local entitlements and state and federal permitting for this 283-lot residential project. Challenges included accommodating the Riverside fairy shrimp, an endangered species; mitigating landslides which cover nearly the entire property; and, securing state and federal permits for this high profile property.
Montana Property
INTERRA was retained as an advisor to assess development feasibility and marketability of this 3600-acre assemblage near a popular resort. INTERRA, working with Design Workshop, facilitated workshops with the multiple owners.
MCAS El Toro - Non-Aviation Alternatives
The Orange County Regional Airport Authority, a coalition of cities in North Orange County, California, engaged INTERRA to provide an independent assessment and feasibility analysis of several iterations of the proposed MCAS El Toro Millennium Plan, a non aviation reuse plan for the soon-to-be conveyed military base. INTERRA was later retained to conduct a similar assessment of the City of Irvine's Great Park Plan.
City of Tustin
INTERRA prepared the master marketing program for the MCAS Tustin property which is being turned over to the City of Tustin for development as a result of the Dept of Defense
military base closure program.
